Asiana Airlines Opens up UK Holidays to South Korea
Asia holidays have been steadily growing in popularity over the past decade. With such travel phenomena as the rise of China holidays and the increased opportunities for cheap flights to Asian countries, there are many more options for Asia holidays than the old stereotype of a "gap-month" in Thailand.
Holidays in South Korea have been one of the new options for UK travellers, and many Britons combine visiting this fascinating country with working in one of its many English language schools. Whatever the reason, anyone seeking cheap flights to South Korea this month will be pleased to hear that an expanded route is to be launched from London Heathrow Airport.
Beginning on 30 October, Asiana Airlines will start offering daily cheap flights to Seoul, increasing both the airline's capacity and the frequency of the flights.
The cheap flights will leave Heathrow daily at 9pm, arriving at Seoul Incheon Airport at 4:50pm local time. The return flights will leave Incheon at 11:30am on Mondays and 1:30pm on all other days of the week, arriving at Heathrow at around 3:20pm and 5:25pm respectively.
Travellers seeking cheap flights to other Asian destinations will be able to use the route to connect with other services on the Asiana Airlines network, serving 20 Japanese cities and 21 destinations in China, plus destinations in Australia, Cambodia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and more.
Seoul itself is a great place to begin your South Korea holidays, packed as it is with history, culture and attractions, including the breathtaking palaces of Changdeok, Deoksu and Gyeongbok, among other delights. There are also many cheap hotels in the city for UK holidaymakers to take advantage of.
