Falling Hotel Prices Make Jamaica Germany and Egypt Holiday Deals
New figures this week revealed that UK travellers taking Jamaica holidays next month will be among the global beneficiaries of cheap hotels overseas.
The latest worldwide HotelsCombined.com Price Index found that the biggest month-on-month price drops will occur in Jamaica. The rates for cheap hotels are set to fall by 24 per cent next month as the island recovers from March's tourism boom caused by US visitors arriving for the Spring Break.
Next month will also see increased availability of cheap hotels in Germany. Holidays to cities such as Dusseldorf, Westerland and Nuremberg are popular in the springtime among UK citizens seeking city breaks and a chance to bask in milder weather while seeing the sights and experiencing German café culture.
The good news for anyone considering catching cheap flights to Germany in April is that significant price drops have been forecast in all three of the aforementioned cities, in particular – and across Germany in general – for April 2011. HotelsCombined.com said that its past hotel price indices have featured German cities prominently, indicating hoteliers responding to shifting patterns of demand.
The largest year-on-year price drops worldwide next month will be found in the Middle East, the review went on. It said that tourists looking for cheap hotels on their Beirut and Egypt holidays will be able to pick up some bargains.
Beirut hotels are set to fall in price by 21.4 per cent next month, while Cairo hotels will be 18.54 per cent cheaper in April. Once again German cities were mentioned in the report, which said that year-on-year rates in Nuremberg and Munich are set to fall, by 19.8 per cent and 19.72 per cent respectively.
