Four New Leeds Routes in 2012 With Jet2
Cheap flights carrier Jet2.com has announced plans to expand the number of "exciting city destinations" that it offers from Leeds Bradford Airport.
Jet2.com will begin operating cheap flights to Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, Paris and Pisa in summer 2012, and tickets are available now, it said. The Amsterdam services will leave Leeds Bradford up to twice a day, while the cheap flights to Paris will take place daily and the Düsseldorf services will operate six times a week, giving holidaymakers the flexibility to book either mid-week or at the weekend.
The cheap flights to Pisa will begin in May next year, while the other three routes are an extension of the carrier's winter schedules, allowing passengers to "make the most of the destinations across the year".
"We know many of our customers like to book their holidays well in advance, so they can make the most of their time away – and that's especially true of city breaks," Jet2.com chief commercial officer Steve Heapy remarked. "Trips to a city destination tend to be jam-packed with sightseeing, shopping and enjoying local delicacies, so extra time to plan is invaluable – whether it helps with securing a ticket to a must-see event, or being able to swot up on exactly what to do whilst away."
With the new routes, the cheap fares airline now offers services to some 39 different destinations from its Leeds Bradford base, with passengers able to choose from a wide range of sunshine, city and ski destinations.
