Monarch Boosts Cheap Flights to Sharm el Sheikh
Cheap flights carrier Monarch Airlines announced this week that it is boosting its services from Manchester Airport for people seeking good value travel to their Egypt holidays on the Red Sea coast.
The scheduled leisure airline said that it has increased the number of cheap flights to Sharm el Sheikh this winter following "phenomenal" demand among UK holidaymakers. The route from Manchester was only launched in July but has proved so successful since then that Monarch now plans to add an extra flight on Mondays from 7 November until 19 March next year.
This will complement the existing services which leave Manchester on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets for the extra services are now available.
Commenting on the extra cheap flights to Sharm el Sheikh, Monarch Airlines managing director Kevin George declared: "We have seen strong demand for our new scheduled services between Manchester and Sharm el Sheikh in the first month of announcing the new route."
"As a result we are delighted to be adding an additional flight per week, bringing the total number of flights between Manchester and Egypt’s Red Sea Resort to four a week throughout the winter season."
Mr George went on to say that he hoped the extra cheap flights would give even more passengers the chance to enjoy "Monarch's innovative 'build your own class' service," in which customers can tweak the flight package to their own satisfaction, giving them a sense that they are not merely being treated as just another budget airline customer – with optional extras like more legroom and pre-ordered in-flight meals.
The current Monarch flights scheduled is available for bookings until October next year.
